SELLER’S INFO

* * * CONSIGNMENTS ARE WELCOME * * *

(( Please read the following information carefully ))

Everyone needs extra money in their pocket, right? Look around you house, garage, shed, storage, business … I’m sure you have a lot of items that you want out of your way that someone else would love to have. Bring them to us on auction night and lets see if we can turn your items into cash.

We will begin taking in consignments at 4pm for that night’s auction.

All items to be sold that night must be brought in, set up, tagged, and on the tables with a signed contract by 5:30pm at the latest.

Please make sure all items you bring in are clean and ready for display before arriving. This will make set up move much faster since we have less than 2 hours for set up time.

At this point we have no where to warehouse consignments. So, please bring items the night of the auction and remove all unsold items after the auction is over. This helps keep over head to a minimum allowing us to keep sellers fees low.

Mushrooms Everywhere

Brevard Bargain Hunters January 27th, 2007

SOLD

Four Mushroom Canisters Most of the time, it seems you only come across themed stuff spread out between the weeks and months. You know, you see this great little set of cups and no saucers… two weeks later (especially if you didn’t grab those cups) you’ll see the saucers that went with them somewhere else. Same goes for themed items. Those of you who collect a certain type of animal, know what I mean. Say you collect chickens.. usually you don’t see a bunch at one time. You have to keep hunting. Not so for us this weekend! Fungi were abundant… the kind you find in your kitchen that is. Among the other treasures we acquired, were two really cute (and in great condition too!) canister sets decorated in the late 70’s - early 80’s theme of mushrooms.Bottom of Canister Set As you can see one of them is stamped from Sears & Roebuck Co. The one I really like is the “Merry Mushroom” set. It not only has the canisters but also matching salt and pepper shakers. What I think makes the set, is that the mushrooms on the front are raised AND when you look at the canisters, each one looks like a mushroom because of the lid shape. Second Set of Mushroom Canisters We haven’t gone through all of the items we picked up, but who knows? Maybe we’ll hit the mushroom jackpot and find even more (we did find another lovely set of green and white marble looking canisters… photos coming soon).
We will be sure to post when and where these go up for sale, but if you really like one of these sets, just contact us and make an offer. Don’t forget, if you collect something in particular, you can let us know and if we come across it, you’ll get the first chance to purchase it!

Happy Bargain Hunting!

Glassware (Fenton ?)

Brevard Bargain Hunters November 17th, 2006

SOLD

Fenton Glassware This is a quick photo of all of what looks to be Fenton pieces that are going up on Saturday at the auction. There are two yellow vases, the other one just isn’t in the photo. All four are in mint condition, not a crack or chip anywhere. Although, I like the yellow vases, I have to say the blue hobnail pitcher is my favorite. Regardless, someone is going to be taking home some beauties from the auction. Many Auction ItemsWe also ended up with much much more then just the coke trays. We’ve got 4 lots of Coca Cola items ranging from tins to die cast cars to coasters. Lots of other household things are there.. you can get a glance in the pic. There’s a brand new coffee serving set, a dumbbell set by Weider that’s still in the box, George Foreman grill and more. That’s just our goodies! There were tables full of other things there already when we took our items in. With Christmas right around the corner, it’s making me wish I wasn’t going to be out of town on Saturday.

Check back tomorrow and I’ll have a more comprehensive list of our items and photos of the Fenton vases and hobnail pitcher.

Coal Bears and Baby Clothes

Brevard Bargain Hunters November 11th, 2006

Bears of CoalOne of the wonderful things about being a bargain hunter, is the unique items you come across. While Patty and I were setting up today, I was going through a large box of glass ware and various figurines. About halfway through, I unwrapped a really cute pair of carved bears. Because they’re carved from solid coal, they are pitch black and quite heavy for their size. If you collect bears, they’d definately be a nice conversation piece, in addition to just plain being adorable. Continue Reading »
