New Building For Saturday Auctions !

Patty November 22nd, 2008

I am excited to announce we have leased a building to do our Saturday Night Auctions. It is actually the building I first went to over 10 years ago and experienced my very first auction. This is where I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up “An Auctioneer”. As everyone can clearly tell this is my life’s passion. I feel like I have come full circle by leasing this building and I am home. This building used to be owned by John Davis and he ran Brevard Auction out of there for many years and then the name changed to B&J Auction up until it closed when John moved away. It will now be PATTY’S FURNITURE AND AUCTION. We will run Every Saturday Night at 6:00pm.

We put the tables and chairs in the building today and will be setting up the shelving and other necessities in the next few days. We are hoping to have our first Saturday night Auction Next Saturday November 29th at 6:00pm.

ATTENTION CONSIGNORS WITH CONSIGNMENTS:

We will take in consignments for this Saturday’s auction on Friday Nov. 28th between 10:00am and 4:00pm. Normally we will take in consignments on Saturday but this up coming week I will be working Cliff Shulers Auction in Titusville during the morning hours of the 29th. So, we are looking to have all consignments in and set up on Friday so I am not having to rush to get set up before the auction on Saturday night.

Please come out and join us. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years and I hope you will all continue to help us grow. We’ll see you Saturday.

The new address is:
720 W King St.
(which is 520)
in Cocoa, FL
(behind Atlantic Seafood)

Go West on 520 1/2 a mile. Turn RIGHT onto Valencia. The Auction is directly behind Atlantic Seafood. (If you get to Fiske Blvd. YOU’VE GONE TOO FAR).

Toy Donations Last Night WOW !!!

Patty November 14th, 2008

I have goose bumps just thinking about all the generous people we have surrounding us. A HuGE Thank You to everyone who came out to the auction last night and donated toys for the needy families of Brevard. Jim left with his van LOADED DOWN with toys. Your kindness will make a difference & be felt in the hearts of many children on Christmas morning.

We will still be accepting donations at both auctions for over the next few weeks. Let’s hope we get the same response every week.

YOU GUYS ARE FaBuLoUs !!!

Toy Donations For Needy Children of Cocoa

Patty November 12th, 2008

I would like to take a moment let everyone know that Jim Stiltenpole who has been a regular patron at my auctions for many years is again helping gather new toys for the needy children of Cocoa for this Christmas season. There will be a lot of children that wouldn’t have a Christmas without all the efforts he and the local Cocoa PD put into this kind gesture over the last few years. We will begin taking in donations of new unwrapped toys every Thursday night at the auction. Jim will make sure they get into the proper hands to help brighten the lives of so many children and families in need this year. This is something that has to be done as a group effort. So Please stop by the auction and drop off a toy or come by toys from our hauler and donate them in the box. This is a fabulous cause and the donations stay right here in our Brevard community.

DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF BETWEEN 4pm & 10pm ON THURSDAYS

2507 North US1 in Cocoa (1/4 mile south of 528)

Saturday Auctions Postponed Until . . .

Patty November 2nd, 2008

Due to the untimely death of my new business associate Neil Griffis, our Saturday night auctions will be postpones until further notice. He passed away Saturday November 1, 2008. Our Deepest Sympathy and Prayers go out to the family, relatives and friends of Neil. I only knew him for a brief period of time before his passing. But, we had become business associates as well as friends. He was so looking forward to us building the new auction together. He shined a light in many people’s lives. He will be truly missed.

We WILL continue our Thursday night 6:00pm auctions at the Cocoa MarketPlace. We hope to see everyone there on Thursdays. Please keep the Griffis Family in your prayers.
